Samson and the Lion by Gleb Derujunsky (1888 - 1975) Limestone 1949. Derujunsky's work included a large number of biblical themes such as this powerful rendition of Samson and the Lion. As proficient at carving as he was at modeling in clay, Derujinsky worked in both stone and wood. Located at Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina USA.
