I so love this "found" abstract image embedded in the bark of this tree, Cynthia! This is the sort of thing that inspired me to want to pick up painting about a year ago! My daughter and I would go out on walks and look for interesting shapes in rocks, then paint them according to their shape! For example, a rock that would lend itself to a bird shape, paint it with feathers, etc. I have even given these as gifts as paper weights! I hope that this tree is one that you can go back to time and again for inspiration! Love it! Fave!
