Description
The Fishhouse c1940's in Beaufort, North Carolina was owned by Capt. Louis Christopher Styron Sr., the fisherman for whom this cottage was named. Capt. Styron repaired and restored fishing boats in addition to making and mending nets for other fishermen in the yard next to the home. Approaching the 1940s cottage, the fishing tackle, nick-knacks, boat parts and pieces are impossible to miss, but everything has its purpose and place.
