Artist's Description
The green tree python is a beautifully colored constrictor snake that lives in tropical rain forests in New Guinea, parts of Australia, Solomon Islands and Aru Island. Green tree pythons spend their life in the trees, descending only when they wish to find a new tree. Their life span is approximately 20 years in the wild or up to 35 years in captivity. Green tree pythons have a unique appearance and they are closely related to the emerald tree boa.
Seen this beautiful snake at The Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, South Carolina USA.

Mary AD Art
This would have been an excellent photo if the sharpness was on the eyes and towards the nose rather than forehead. I know snakes move fast though, I had the same problem lol.
Cynthia Guinn replied:
Thanks Mary, maybe next time.
